Electronic Resource Management: Report of the DLF Electronic Resource Management Initiative
Report prepared in 2004 by Timothy D. Jewell, Ivy Anderson, Adam Chandler, Sharon E. Farb, Kimberly Parker, Angela Riggio, and Nathan D. M. Robertson for the Digital Library Federation (DLF). "A National Information Standards Organization (NISO) and DLF workshop in May 2002 led to the creation of a steering group that would guide the development of the ERMI. In addition, the DLF invited librarians, library-system vendors, and representatives of related organizations to serve on two project advisory groups. ... This publication contains the report and appendixes developed by the steering committee during the course of its work. The report itself is intended to serve as a road map for electronic resource management (ERM)."

DLF Electronic Resources Management Initiative, Phase II: Final Report
Executive Summary: "A second phase of the DLF’s Electronic Resources Management Initiative was begun in 2005, with a focus on 'data standards, issues related to license expression and usage data.' ...Work on these projects and further study of whether formal ERM data standards are needed will continue under the auspices of several NISO-related committees."
