Abstract: The same way as Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) has been reshaping the face of institutional computing, Bring Your Own Identity (BYOI) will be equally impactful. The articles in this issue start to show how the emerging identity management standards can be leveraged to solve long-standing problems.
